We are leaving Earth. We are leaving the Milky Way, but don't be fooled. This is hardly a colonization. This is a protection against extinction -- or maybe the delaying of it. The ark was constructed. The earth stood still. Humans were protected. Humans were killed. A few years from now, this vessel will arrive at our new home. This is where the story begins… The Ark's launch date. Today. This year. 2227. I'd say good luck, my friends, but we need no such thing. To hell with luck! We can do this on our own -- for we humans control the ultimate.

Track Name: Intro
Allow me to address you all -- the ones we leave behind
The ones we love you'll never know the home we hope to find

In darkest times and darkest nights you gave what you could give
our gratitude eternal -- longer than you'll live

We humans had a dream -- our greatest time has come
Our minds move the pages of our chapters like a thumb

Rhythmic footsteps board the ark -- marching one by one
masters of precision as the exodus is done

Two by two we will not march -- in floods we are not stuck
Rainbows we won't need for space's beauty is enough

For if the worst occurs, my dear, farewell we say to you
For bold and daring we must be -- our courage is renewed

I'll risk repeating words I've said to thank you once again
for most of all besides our home, we'll miss beloved friends.
Track Name: The Ark
This way, ladies and gentlemen! Onward to salvation! Onward to the final test of humanity. Oh, careful! Watch your step, young boy -- hahahaha… ha.

Similar to the ancient stories of rebirth -- we are boarding this ark to escape our demise -- the only difference -- we aren't waiting for floods to clear -- no! We are searching for salvation amongst the stars. Despite the recent catastrophes that stain earth's history, our future will be bright, glorious, illustrious. We have rejected our Judgement Day. We will not accept an ending, for to forfeit our survival, is to forfeit our humanity.

Be sure to get a good view of the central porthole. For many of you, this will be your first observance of our home: The Blue Marble. And sadly, this will be our last.

Open the blinds! Open them at once! Peer into the vast unending voice of space!
Track Name: Engine Test
Thruster F is engaged, sir. And yes, we are fully functional and ready to leave this damned solar system . I've waited my entire life to leave. The blue marble -- hah!-- more like the atomic cesspool! Earth… is a planet doomed to over-heat, over-freeze, and over-starve its population. So when you ask me if we are prepared to leave -- I not only can say that this engine -- this 20-ton titanium thruster, engineered by the powerful minds of the human race -- is engaged and ready for departure -- but I can say that after three decades since Mother Nature turned her back on us -- after 3 decades since the air has not been breathable. we -- the human race -- are ready for a new home… We are ready to survive!
Track Name: 686F7065
The Ark was built -- the earth stood still.
Humans were saved. Humans were killed.

Darkness engulfs -- All that exists
Is this the end -- could this be it

They do not know -- what it is like
To not exist -- to not survive

This view right here -- they used to want
Earth seems so small -- years from their home

Today we might die -- at least we reached the stars
Away from the earth -- a home no longer ours.
